Use 3DJ lawfully, protect access to your account, keep your own backups where appropriate, and check important AI-generated results. Paid services, renewals and cancellation terms are shown before checkout. Your statutory rights are not affected.
1. Who we are
These terms are between you and 3DJ (“3DJ”, “we”, “us”). Our website is 3dj.co.uk. Contact us at support@3dj.co.uk.
2. Your agreement
By creating an account or using a 3DJ product, you agree to these terms and acknowledge our Privacy & Security Notice. You must be at least 18, or have permission from a parent or legal guardian who accepts these terms for you.
3. Accounts and access security
You must provide accurate details and keep your email account, passwords, verification codes, authenticator, PIN, devices and trusted-device access secure. Do not share authentication codes or permit unauthorised use. Tell us promptly if you suspect compromise and revoke unrecognised trusted devices.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for loss caused by access obtained because you disclosed credentials, failed to secure your email or device, or ignored a security warning. This does not exclude responsibility where a breach results from our failure to use reasonable care and skill, and it does not limit rights that law does not allow us to exclude.
4. Products and acceptable use
We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive and non-transferable right to use the purchased or subscribed service. You must not misuse the service, interfere with its security, reverse engineer it except where law permits, upload unlawful or infringing content, attempt unauthorised access, or use it to harm another person.
5. Your content
You retain ownership of your notes, recordings, images and documents. You give us only the permissions reasonably necessary to store, synchronise, process, translate, transcribe, export and deliver that content at your request. You are responsible for having permission to process content concerning other people.
6. AI-assisted features
Transcription, translation, OCR and extracted dates are automated and can be incomplete or wrong. Check important names, amounts, payment dates, appointments, medical information and translations against the original. 3DJ is not professional, medical, legal, financial or tax advice.
7. Prices, AI actions and receipts
Prices and taxes are displayed before payment. Card payments are processed by Stripe; 3DJ does not receive complete card details. AI actions are usage units, not money or electronic currency, and cannot be transferred or exchanged for cash. Promotional actions may expire where the offer says so. Purchased actions do not expire while your account remains open unless checkout states otherwise. We email a receipt after a successful payment.
8. Subscriptions, renewals and cancellation
Subscriptions renew at the interval and price displayed at checkout until cancelled. Cancel future renewal before the next billing date; access continues to the end of the paid period unless stated otherwise. Statutory cancellation and refund rights remain available. Where you ask for digital services to begin during a cancellation period, the law may allow a proportionate charge for service already supplied or may affect cancellation rights for fully supplied digital content.
9. Availability, updates and backups
We aim to provide a reliable service but cannot promise uninterrupted availability. Maintenance, third-party outages, connectivity, operating-system changes and events outside reasonable control may affect service. Install security updates promptly. Offline features and synchronisation are not a substitute for exports or backups of business-critical content.
10. Liability
Nothing excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any liability or consumer right that cannot lawfully be excluded. Subject to that, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, revenue, opportunity or anticipated savings, or loss caused by unchecked automated output, user content, user-controlled account compromise, incompatible third-party systems or events beyond reasonable control. Any limitation applies only so far as it is fair and lawful.
11. Suspension and closure
We may suspend access where reasonably necessary to protect users or the service, investigate suspected misuse, comply with law, or address unpaid charges. We will give notice where reasonably possible. You may close your account through available account controls or support. Some transaction, fraud-prevention and legal records may be retained where required.
12. Changes
We may update these terms for legal, security or product reasons. Material changes will be brought to your attention and, where required, we will request fresh acceptance.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Consumers retain mandatory protections and rights to bring proceedings available where they live.
This operational draft should be reviewed by a UK solicitor before public launch, particularly after the legal entity, registered address, VAT status and cancellation workflow are finalised.
