TalkingForms

Create a form in your language. Let people fill it in using theirs. They can read or hear each translated question, then type or speak their answers — without you building a separate form for every language.

One form. More people able to take part.Language choice, read-aloud questions and spoken answers are part of the form itself. People choose how they understand and respond, one question at a time.

For organisations collecting information from people who use different languages, prefer speaking to typing, or benefit from hearing a question read aloud.

  1. Housing repairs

Let tenants describe a repair in their own language by typing or speaking, while your team maintains one repair-reporting form.

  2. Letting and property enquiries

Collect viewing requests, contact details and property requirements with translated questions that applicants can read or hear.

  3. Garages and vehicle repairs

Ask drivers about their vehicle and the problem in their chosen language before your team reviews the enquiry.

  4. Trades and home services

Use a single enquiry form to ask customers what work they need, where it is and when someone can visit.

  5. Hotels and guest accommodation

Invite guests to submit a request or feedback in a supported language without needing an account.

  6. Schools and parent communication

Ask parents for routine information or event preferences using questions they can read or hear in their language.

  7. Community groups and charities

Help people explain what support they are looking for through a guided form with translated questions and spoken answers.

  8. Client onboarding

Gather a new client’s contact details and requirements with conditional questions and a final answer review.

  9. Events and activity registration

Collect attendance details and preferences through one shared link that lets each person choose their language.

  10. Employee onboarding and feedback

Give staff a way to complete routine information or feedback forms using typed or spoken answers in their chosen language.

Match every response. Let people finish in their own time.

Personalise shared links with customer IDs, email addresses, references or other custom parameters. The values stay with the submitted response and appear in response viewing and CSV exports, making it easier to match replies to your mailing list.

Answers and progress save securely as people work. They can reopen the same link in the same browser for up to 30 days and continue with their saved language and form version. Clearing cookies or switching devices starts a separate draft. Final submission always needs their confirmation.

Encrypted responses. Controlled exports.

Original answers, structured values, translations and cached AI results are encrypted in the database. Export original responses and available organisation-language translations as CSV. Email verification is on by default: enter the one-use code sent to your account email before downloading. Organisation administrators can turn this requirement on or off.

Codes expire after 10 minutes and lock after five incorrect attempts. Downloaded CSV files contain readable data, so store and share them securely.

01

Create once, share across languages

Write your questions in your organisation’s language. The person opening the link chooses the language used for the questions, choices and controls.

02

Read or listen. Type or speak.

Respondents can hear a question, speak an answer, check the resulting text and change it before continuing. Typing is always available.

03

Keep a checked, traceable record

Review responses against the exact form version completed. Original answers and their language are retained, with consistent values for choices, dates and numbers.

See it in action

You ask in English. They answer in Spanish.

A housing team writes one repair form. A Spanish-speaking tenant reads or hears the questions in Spanish and describes the problem in their own words. The same published link serves people choosing other supported languages.

1Write once in your language

Choose a starter template or create your questions, answer types and conditional rules. Add your organisation’s branding and explain what the form is for.

2They choose their language

The shared link asks which language to use. People read or hear the translated question, then type or record an answer and check the text.

3Check, submit and review

Respondents confirm their answers before submitting. Your team receives the original answers, their language and a record tied to the published form version.

Language access built into the form

Make the question clear. Make answering easier.

Start with one of 50 editable forms across 10 use cases. Publish once and offer translated questions, read-aloud playback and spoken or typed answers. Organisation branding and an introduction help people understand who is asking and why. File uploads are not available yet. CSV exports include original answers and available organisation-language translations, with email verification enabled by default.

Questions people can hear

Each question has a Play aloud button, using the respondent’s selected language. People can read, listen or use both.

Answers people can speak

Speak answer records a response and turns it into editable text. Respondents check what was captured before continuing.

Conditional questions

Show a question only when an earlier answer matches your rule. Keep irrelevant questions out of the conversation.

Check before submitting

People see a summary and can change their answers before confirming the information is accurate.

Your organisation’s identity

Use your logo, colours and form introduction on shared links, with your organisation presented to respondents.

Preserved form versions

Editing a draft creates no changes to earlier submissions. Every response retains the version the person completed.

The same shared 3DJ credits

Top up only when you need AI actions.

Form design and ordinary typed responses do not consume AI credits. Translation, recorded answers and generated question audio use the organisation owner’s shared 3DJ wallet, with published questions and audio reused where available.

Questions, answered

Before your first form.

Does a respondent need an account?+

No. Respondents open a published form using its link and submit their answers in a modern browser. Staff use their existing 3DJ account to manage forms and review responses.

What is available in early access?+

Organisation workspaces, 50 editable starter templates, a form designer, conditional questions, versioned publishing, language selection, translated questions, read-aloud playback, spoken answers and response review are available now.

Can people speak their answers?+

Yes. Each question has a Speak answer button. Allow microphone access, record for up to 60 seconds, then stop. The transcribed answer remains editable before continuing. You can cancel recording or type instead.

Do I have to build a separate form for each language?+

No. Write one form in its primary language and publish a single link. Respondents choose from the supported languages. Questions, choices and controls are translated, and questions can be read aloud. Choice values remain consistent for rules and records. Your team can review the original free-text answers alongside translations into the organisation’s language.

How do credits work?+

TalkingForms uses the same prepaid 3DJ wallet and checkout as the other products. Preparing a new form language costs one credit per published version and language; a recorded answer costs one credit. Device playback is free, while generated question audio costs one credit and is reused. Failed AI operations return the reserved credits.

Who pays when a customer completes a form?+

Respondents do not pay or need an account. Billable translation, recorded answers and generated audio use the organisation owner’s shared credit balance.

Can I change a form after publishing?+

Yes. Edit and save the draft, then publish a new version. Earlier responses retain the exact version completed by the respondent.

Can I ask different questions depending on an answer?+

Yes. Use the form designer to show a question when an earlier answer equals a value you specify. The server also checks the rule when the answers are submitted.

Can respondents check their information?+

Yes. A review screen lets people change their answers before they confirm and submit. The resulting record preserves their original values.

Can I collect files or export responses?+

CSV response export is available from the responses list. Email verification is on by default: enter the code emailed to your account before downloading. Administrators can change this setting. File and photo uploads, PDF export and advanced notifications are planned.
